Over the years staff have designed Building Services for numerous prestige projects within the U.A.E ranging from High Tech Telecommunication Buildings through Universities, Commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Retail Developments, Villas, Industrial Facilities in both high rise and low raise forms.

Estidama Basic Commissioning

Fittons offers Basic Commissioning services as per Estidama IDP-R3 for both design stage and construction stage.. Our staffs have extensive experience in commissioning of energy systems that covers equally all areas of building services.With our experience in Estidama PQP services, we are thoroughly aware of the depth and intricacies of the documentation needed for Estidama Certification in relation to commissioning. Our approach is to ensure that the designed systems are properly executed through the construction phase and the systems are properly commissioned to meet owners operational need.

CFD Analysis

Fittons has in-house capability of modelling Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for HVAC air distribution design and Smoke management.Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software predicts 3D airflow, heat transfer, contamination distribution and comfort indices in and around buildings of all types and sizes.
We can model complex shapes and provide recommendations to the designers to achieve their design objectives.Fittons has successfully carried out the CFD analysis of HVAC air distribution design and Smoke management for the H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Mosque at Al Ain. A snap shot from the project is shown on the left.

Master Planning

Individual members of our team have led and been involved in the historic refurbishment and conservation of the Al Ain Oases – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the first in the UAE, when employed elsewhere.

District Cooling

We have staff with more than ten years of experience in the District Cooling Industry within the U.A.E. We offer District Cooling Consultancy Services from Feasibility studies through Master Planning and Concept to Full Designs for Plant Rooms, ETS’s and Reticulation Pipe Networks, advise on the type of tariff structure suitable for the development.

The client has the choice to go EPC (Engineering Procure Construct) or PC (Procure Construct).
Fittons also carry out Technical Advisory role and Technical Due Diligence of district cooling plant rooms, networks and Energy Transfers Stations for District Cooling Service Providers, Lenders and Banks.

Collectively our staff have around one million TR of Design and Construction Experience in District Cooling industry prior to joining Fittons.
We save client’s money by advising on cooling loads, predicting when orders should be placed and when construction and build out needs to start thus differing capital expenditure until necessary.

Fittons Staff have previously worked with many of the U.A.E District Cooling Providers and Contractors and enjoy long term business relationship through achieving and delivering the promise.

With this amount of experience we know the business and hence our client’s benefit.

AOR Services

This permits us to do any form of  Building Architecture, Structure and associated services in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Whilst Architectural and Structural design are available we normally limit these disciplines to support our core Engineering Business.
Fittons  provides “Architect of Record” (AOR) services and we process NOC’s and Building Permits.

Solid Waste & Handling

In the specialised field of Solid Waste Handling and Recovery, we can offer Fully Designed Systems and/or the usual Design and Build approach. Earlier in their careers, our engineers gained extensive experience in designing a “State of the the art” Solid waste Handling system within the U.A.E. comprising :

• Dirty MRF (Sorting Station) – with automatic and manual segregation, all linked to central computer control sysem. 1200TPD.
• Transfer Stations – for remote locations to enable bulking and compacting of the waste prior to transporting to the MRF – this saves operational costs and minimizes the number of vehicles needed to the transport the waste.
• Clinical Waste Incinerators – To deal with the hazardous waste generated by hospital and clinic such as radioactive isotopes, needles, body parts etc prior to encapsulation.
• Fallen Stock Incinerators – To deal with dead stock from farms and road accident etc.
• Crushing Plant – To enable re-use of Construction and Demolition waste as roas sub-bases etc.
• Landfill Site – with properly coordinated, lined and monitired cells to ensure our environment is not further polluted

Piping Stress Analysis

Ensuring the piping systems adhere to international codes and standards plays an integral role in keeping your system operational. Fittons can carry out piping stress analysis using CEASAR II software to evaluate the structural responses and stresses of the piping systems to international codes and standards. We can carry out Stress analysis for buried and above ground chilled water pipes.We have performed Stress analysis for buried chilled water piping network of 10 km of length in a district
cooling project.

Estidama Services

Fittons have Pearl Qualified Professionals (PQP) certified by Urban Planning Council (UPC) of Abu Dhabi. Fittons have successfully obtained Pearl rating for projects with gross floor area up to 15,000 square meters. Depending upon client’s requirement Fittons can provide the following assistance;

– Prepare necessary Estidama documents based on the design documents and inputs from the designers.

– Review & comment on the Estidama documents prepared by the designers.

– Submit & obtain approval from Estidama / UPC.
